||
The 15-pole superconducting wiggler with the peak field of 7.5 T and the period length of 200 mm has been designed and fabricated in Budker INP for LSU-CAMD storage ring (USA). This insertion device considerably expands facilities of the synchrotron radiation source and allows carrying out researches in energy photon range from 10 to 100 KeV. Total radiation power is equal to 18 kW for electron beam current of 0.2 A and 1.35 GeV energy. Pole gap and electron beam aperture are equal to 26 mm and 15 mm, correspondingly. The wiggler cryostat provides zero liquid helium consumption and allows making helium refilling not often than once a year. The main features of the magnet and the cryogenic systems, as well as experimental test results are presented. | ||
