Analytical Method For Calculating the Coulomb Field of the Inhomogeneous Axially Symmetric Beam of Charged Particles

  The model of an axially symmetric inhomogeneous beam of charged particles is considered, which is a set of the charged nested hollow cylinders placed in a round metal tube of constant radius. It is proposed to approximate the function of the beam charge density by an analytic function. Using the analytical solutions of boundary value problems for Poisson's equation, the analytical formulas for the intensity of the Coulomb field of charged particle beam are derived. Based on the analytical expressions obtained, the method for calculating the Coulomb field of the inhomogeneous axially symmetric charged particle beam is developed.
