The hadron therapy substantially are based on existing radiation sources served for problems solving not connected with medicine. The small-sized neutron generators with sealed vacuum tubes are developed in VNIIA (Moscow). Several types of generators (14.8 МeV) that can be used in radiation therapy are designed. Dosimetrical and radiobiological testing the pulse neutron generator ING-031 are carried out in MRRC. The experimental facility has been created on the basis of this generator and gamma source "Luch" (60Co). This facility allows to irradiate an object by simultaneous gamma-neutron radiation with neutron contribution from 0 to 100%. While planning the irradiation doses of biological objects it is necessary to take into account both radiations from the main sources and additional secondary radiation. These radiations including the activation gamma-rays from ING-031 and "Luch" installation head, irradiation from walls, floor, ceiling and surrounding equipments were considered in our study. It was shown that these radiations do not bring an essential contribution to the total dose. A number of experiments were carried out on mice melanoma B-16 cells. Suggested approach to the radiation field analysis and experimental data showed the functionality of the gamma-neutron facility for the radiobiological studies and it perspectivity for the neutron therapy.
