The ELV electron accelerators are DC machines purposed for wide application in various technological processes. ELV accelerators are the most popular Russian accelerators not only in Russia but in China and South Korea also. The new set of ELV accelerators with power of electron beam up to 100 kWt inside energy region 0.8 -2.5 MeV was developed. These accelerators were adapted for existing technological processing and for requirements of operation on industrial plant. The main design of accelerators is the same but electrical and electronics circuits were modified. In our Institute was developed the set of underbeam devices that increase the possible application and improve the quality of electron beam treatment.

The problem of the absorbed dose distribution during the EB treatment by ELV accelerator is considered. The value of the absorbed dose is determined by the speed of scanning electron beam along the accelerator exit window (i.e. the movement across the conveyor). It is determined both by the shape of scanning current and by the geometry of scanning magnets. A simple way to improve the dose distribution near the edges of the extraction device of accelerator is suggested. It allows to provide the non-uniformity less 4%.
