PMC Modules for Control Systems of Pulse Installations

  The waveform digitizers and programmable delay generators are the most popular electronic devices in control system of pulse installations. Report describes the following PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC): two models of digitizers, programmable delay generator and trigger pulse driver. The first digitizer (ADC-200ME) is 200 MSPS sampling rate, 12-bit resolution device with two simultaneously sampled channels. The second one (ADC-812ME) has 4 MSPS sample rate, 12 bit resolution and eight simultaneously sampled channels. The programmable delay generator (DL-200 ME) consists of 16 channels. The resolution is 5 ns and time base is 160 mks. The schematic and PCB layout of modules take into account the specificity of power pulse installation: high level of EMI, ground currents, high voltage breakdown. The details of developed devices are discussed in report. Finally an example of the PMC-modules usage to control the power, high voltage, fast modulators is presented.
