An application of indirect cooling allows to simplify a design of cryogenic systems of superconducting wigglers. Tests of the indirectly cooled prototype of the superconducting wiggler were performed with using a cryocooler in all cooling stages. Possibilities of using of the heat pipes were tested which should improve heat transfer between the wiggler and the cryocooler head stages in wide range of temperature. The test results show that the heat pipes have the thermal conductance about 100 times higher than of copper and the heat pipes can be used for cooling of the superconducting wigglers.
