This paper presents the status of the collaboration between Alba and Elettra Synchrotron sources for the convergence of its both alarms systems under the IEC62682 standard, and the usage of HDB++ tools for logging and diagnostic of alarms. Relevant use cases from the user point of view has been added to the paper as a validation of the benefits of this control system evolution.
