The biperiodic structure based on the post couplers are introduced to overcome the instability of the Alvarez DTL tank which is used to operate in 0 (or 2π) mode. The experimental method and results are pre-sented, and the tuning scheme for the formal CPHS DTL is summarized from the tuning experiment.
