If a conference is by invitation only, the option "Invitation Only Conference" must be set to "Yes" in the System Parameters.

This interface is used in the context of

a)          conferences organized by invitation only, whereby only individuals entered via the two options described below can submit or modify a contribution, or

b)          when abstract submission is closed via the System Parameters (System Parameters/User/Accepting Abstracts set to “No”), but the Conference Administrator wishes to allow submission or modification of a contribution by an individual.

Via the Invitees screen, names of persons who may login to the conference database are entered via two options:

Option 1 - Searching the JACoW Database for existing persons

Enter the last name or e-mail address or an affiliation in the three fields proposed.

Set the popup field in the left hand column to “yes” for individuals who should have the “invitee” status.

Option 2 – Bulk Load Invitees via Email Addresses

Enter the e-mail addresses of the persons who should have “invitee” status with a carriage return after each address.
