The Conference Administrator may enter several levels of Privileges using the Authorized Users Screen to enter names of Conference Editors, Editors for QA, Poster Police, Reclassification of Abstracts, Type of Presentation, Registration, Send Automatic Email, Sort and File. These individuals will see the links for which they have been assigned privileges. |
Description |
This interface is used in connection with activities associated with processing and managing contributions to the Proceedings. The different users and activities (Conference Administrator, Conference Editor, Editor QA, Poster Police, Send Automated Email, Sort and File) listed in the Authorized Users & Roles table have access to all or a selection of the screens listed below. Via the link Editors’ Home Page, the Conference Administrator/Conference Editor has, in one view, access to all of the sub-screens associated with this interface. Search Possibilities The Conference Administrator/Conference Editor can search for a contribution (paper) through popup lists where papers by Programme Code are grouped by date of presentation. The Conference Administrator/Conference Editor can search for papers by platform (Linux, Mac, Unix, Windows), and by Source Type (LaTeX, Microsoft Word). Clicking on “Get Next paper” enables the Conference Administrator/Conference Editor to assign a paper for processing to his/herself, or to assign or re-assign a paper to an Editor listed in the Authorized Users & Roles table. During the processing of papers activity, papers being processed by the person logged on are listed under "Active Papers". Sub-Screens
