Description

This interface is used during the processing of contributions to the Proceedings.

Active papers, i.e. papers processed or downloaded for processing by the person logged in are recorded in columns:

Paper ID This is the Programme Code of the contribution to the Proceedings
Function Sub-links in this column are:
View Abstract links to an un-modifiable view with full contribution data:  title, classification, programme code, speaker/presenter, type of presentation, as well as status of file upload and processing, etc.
Edit Abstract links to a screen where, according to privileges, it is possible to modify the abstract (if the System Parameters/Conference Freeze User Updates to Abstracts is set to “no”).
Upload Files Once processing is complete, this link is used to upload the .pdf files or revised .doc, .ps etc. to the server.
Download Files  download files from the server for processing, as requested according to the Platform and Source Type selected higher up the page.
Email via this link it is possible to e-mail a person connected with the contribution (Submitting (Primary) Author, Account Owner, Speaker, etc.)
Change Status Once a paper has been processed, the Editor sets the status of the contribution:
to Red in the case of an insoluble problem requiring re-submission by the author - Red status allows re-upload of files by the author
to Yellow (the Editor has made minor modifications but not opened the original source file and the paper requires proofreading by the author), or
to Green (the paper processed OK)
Set Status Clicking on “Set Status” in the event of a Red or Yellow Dotted paper links to a screen where the Editor enters the reasons for assigning the Red or Yellow Dot.  There is also a box where the Editor enters Comments, which can be seen by the Submitting Author when logged into his account.  This interface carries a second box where the Editor enters Notes, which are not visible by the Submitting Author.
Log This column shows the different actions associated with the contribution
Files Uploaded This column lists the files uploaded by the submitting author by file type and programme code
