Clicking on "Reset all Poster Paper Ids" automatically assigns programme codes to poster presentations when "Enable Automatic Poster ID Assignment" is enabled in the System Parameters (see above).

The link to “disjointed authors” on this screen shows when the same primary or submitting author is scheduled to present a paper in two different places at the same time. 

The "Move Abstract ID", "To Session" and "Sequence" boxes provide the means to manually re-assign locations to individual poster presentations to group authors according to the "village system" (grouping presentations by affiliation and sorting by last name of submitting author).  This will automatically trigger a re-numbering of all other poster programme codes around those manually inserted.

Once all programme codes have been assigned, it is essential to disable this feature since it will overwrite previously assigned codes.
