 Processing

This is the main page for processing papers. Papers are classified in 3 categories (PC, MAC, LATEX).
Thus, you can select a category of paper. if you want specific paper, type in the "Paper code" field the contribution ID or the programme code or this paper otherwise let this field blank. click on the "SEARCH" button to get a paper to process.

A paper is ready for processing if :

  • Its status is "READY FOR UPLOAD" (or "IN WORK" if you request a specific a specific paper).

  • File received equals "YES"

  • Its category is set to any of the available categories (PC, MAC, LATEX)

You click on the "SEARCH" button, and you should get a paper to process. The web page provides a simple form at the top and informations similar to the "More informations..."  page describe above (Title, co-authors, files uploaded, history of the paper...).

Once you are allocated a paper to work on (e.g. WEPRI036). You have to search for the paper source folder WEPRI036 (see) on the server. Copy this folder into your working folder (on your machine). Process the paper (see). When you have finished the work you archive the WEPRI036 folder which is in your working folder on the server (see).

Then, you come back to the web interface and you use the text field to enter any comments about the paper, any requests to the author ("Author must resubmit the doc file", "I want to see the author...", etc...). You assign a green dot to the paper if it is correct or a red dot if there are problems. (If you have corrected a paper, you assign a red dot and click on the check box named "The author must proof read his paper"). Finally, you click on the "Finish" button to send the form.
