Heating on the ceramics chambers has been observed during machine operation. An air compressor is used to cool these chambers due to concerns of overheating during top-up operation mode. To understand the sources of the heating, a series of experiments are performed with various beam currents and bunch filling patterns. The study shows that the heating is mainly caused by the narrow-band impedances of the ceramic chambers and their adjacent vacuum components.
