To improve the beam lifetime, a near-integer working point (0.096/0.094) was tested at fixed energy and during acceleration. In the demonstration experiments, we observed the benefit of the near-integer working point on beam lifetime, however, did not achieve the desired level of orbit correction. This article will present the experimental results of operation with a near-integer working point, and analyze the causes of the orbit control problem.
