This need generates a large number of reference systems, especially to describe the longitudinal dynamics of a particle beam like(z, z′),(t,∆P/P),(z, φ), etc. In this paper we summarize the rules to change coordinates systems, which system is canonical and how the Hamiltonian of the beam transforms according to the chosen coordinate system.
