Aim of the study is the determination of spill structures at several kHz which arise from ripples in the fields of the accelerator magnets due to imperfections of the magnets' power supplies. The goal of the study is to understand how the ripple is transferred from the magnets to the spill and to find possible ways for spill smoothing. For this purpose a comprehensive simulation model for slow extraction is in preparation which will be validated with beam-based measurements.
