AB - Two cryogenic permanent magnet undulators (CPMU) have been developed and assembled into storage ring at SSRF,in order to reach larger magnetic field and to produce higher brilliance in the hard X rays domain. Lowering the temperature of permanent magnets increases the magnetic produced field about by 15%. A set of magnetic measurement system and a suitable magnetic field optimization method have been developed. The design of a magnetic measurement bench based on a Hall probe to perform low temperature measurement has been finished. In addition, a 50-period superconducting undulator prototype with 16mm period length is also being developed for more photons with some specific photon characteristic. And a special hall probe system has been built in order to characterize the magnetic field distribution of the SCU prototype.
