Growing layers of these materials of the quality necessary has proven to be difficult. In this work, we present the SRF performance of planar samples of the promising materials, NbN and NbĀ¬3Sn, grown using atomic layer deposition (ALD) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) respectively. Results are promising.
