AB - Future circular colliders will require high performance superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) cavities, pushing the envelope of currently available technology. High cryogenic efficiency, support of high beam currents, and cost control are of particular importance. Addressing these topics, here we present (1) recent work on Higher-Order Mode control in SRF cavities for very high current operation of multicell cavities, and (2) latest results from the Cornell Nb3Sn cavity program, which has developed next generation cavities with unprecedented cryogenic efficiency.
