A superconducting radio frequency (SRF) elliptical cavity is decided for accelerating a CW electron beam with energy of 3.0 GeV and current of 400 mA in the PLS-II storage ring. The cavity is working at the temperature of 4.4 K and at a frequency of 500 MHz. Three single-cell cavities will be installed into one and a half long-straight sections of the PLS-II storage ring tunnel. Each cavity is powered by one set of high power source, and controlled by one set of digital LLRF and control system. Three cryomodules are cooled by a cryogenic plant of 700 W. In this paper, the cryomodules, high power system, LLRF and control system, and cryogenic system for PLS-II RF system have been introduced.
