In the HEBT, where the beam first reaches full power, this is especially relevant. The acceptance of the HEBT should thus encompass beams of non-nominal parameters and ideally be tolerant to partial hardware failure for at least a pulse train of 2.86 ms. In this paper, the sensitivity towards errors in beam parameters and optical elements will be presented.
