The vanes are modeled to accommodate windows for a clear separation of the RFQ modes and easy fitting to an octagonal resonance chamber. This article presents the main numerical results of the radio-frequency modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Particle tracking studies optimized for bunching and acceleration are shown as well.
