The locations and radius of the cooling passages are optimized, which exist in the five-meter-long copper cavity, tuners, dipole-mode stabilizing rods and end-plates. A three-dimensional RF, thermal, and structural analysis by ANSYS has been performed to carry out the design and verify that the present design can meet the requirement for water velocity, stress, deformation and frequency shift.
