Since a serious pitting erosion was found at the target vessel at SNS in ORNL and JSNS, a reduction of a peak current density is required. In order to decrease the peak, we have developed the beam optics based on a non linear using an octupole magnets. In a design calculation, it is found that the peak current density of 30 % can be reduced by introducing the octupole magnets. A status of the design and the experimental results will be reported.
