Black-box system identification techniques were applied to model the dynamic behavior of BPM electronics, orbit correctors, communication networks and vacuum chamber eddy currents. Due to the heterogeneity on the dynamic responses among several units of those subsystems, as well as variations on the static response matrix due to accelerator optics changes during operation, robust control techniques were employed to achieve appropriate closed-loop performance and robustness.
